In short
Travary is a shared itinerary app for small groups: share a trip with up to six people and everyone sees the same days, in time order, on their own phone, iPhone or Android. Each person adds the bookings they made, the organiser can tidy anything, and every ticket opens offline. Sharing comes with a Holiday Pass for one trip or the Annual Pass; it's coming soon to both stores.
The trouble with group trip plans
Group trips are planned in a chat and booked by several people. The flights are in one inbox, the villa in another, the restaurant booking is a screenshot someone posted on Tuesday. By the time you travel, nobody has the whole plan, and the group chat is 400 messages long.
A shared itinerary fixes that by giving the group one place where the bookings live, in date order, that everyone can open, even without signal.
How sharing works in Travary
- Start the trip
Add a booking and the trip forms itself from its dates, or create it with a name and dates first.
- Invite the group
Send a short code by text or chat. Up to six people can be on a trip, you included. They join from Trips in the app.
- Everyone adds what they booked
Whoever books the dinner adds the dinner. You can edit and delete your own bookings; the organiser can edit anything.
- Everyone carries their own tickets
Tickets on a shared trip are backed up and downloaded to each phone, so they open offline for whoever's at the front of the queue.
You share with the people you invite, not with a public link, so the trip's dates and addresses don't travel further than the group. Passports and visas never leave each person's phone, even on a shared trip.

What the group sees each morning
Each day opens on its plan: the next thing with its ticket ready, the place you're staying that night, the tables booked. Swipe for tomorrow, or tap the date to see the whole trip on a calendar. Times are exactly as printed on each ticket, in local time, so a group arriving from different countries all see the same 7:30pm dinner.
Inside the trip, Travary spots what's missing: a night with nowhere booked, or no flight home for someone. And the trip's "Before you go" list holds the group's to-dos that aren't bookings, like who's collecting the hire car keys.
Compared with other ways of sharing
| Method | Good at | Falls down when |
|---|---|---|
| Group chat | Deciding things | You need the address, the time or the ticket |
| Shared document | Everyone can edit | You're on a phone, offline, with the ticket somewhere else |
| PDF itinerary | Sending to people at home | Anything changes after you send it |
| A planning app with a map | Choosing places together | You need the tickets on the day, offline |
| Travary | The trip itself: bookings, tickets, each day in order, offline | You want to research places on a map (it doesn't try to) |

What it costs
Sharing a trip needs a Holiday Pass ($14.99, a single payment for one trip of up to 30 days) or the Annual Pass ($34.99 a year, for every trip you organise). Only the organiser needs one: a pass on a trip covers everyone on it. Each person's own trips, bookings and tickets are free.
Questions people ask
Is there an app to share a travel itinerary with friends?
Yes. Travary lets you share a trip with up to six people, you included. Everyone sees the same day-by-day plan on their own phone, adds the bookings they made, and has the tickets offline.
Does everyone in the group need to pay?
No. The organiser buys a Holiday Pass or the Annual Pass, and a pass on a trip covers everyone on it.
Can friends on Android join a trip from an iPhone?
Yes. Travary works on iPhone and Android, and a shared trip is the same on both.
Can other people change my bookings?
You can edit and delete your own bookings. The trip's organiser can edit anything, so the plan can be tidied up.
How many people can share a trip?
Up to six, including you.
